Hello! My name is Yana, and I am an Spanish language instructor with five years of experience. I help adults and teenagers master Spanish — from absolute beginners to a confident understanding of grammar and the ability to engage in basic free communication.

My professional background includes a degree from MSLU specializing in Spanish translation, which helps me find solutions in complex situations. Additionally, I have completed specialized ELE methodology courses. My experience living and studying in Spain provided me with invaluable immersion in the culture and the living, natural language.

In my lessons, I strive to explain grammatical rules as accessibly as possible, reinforcing them with clear examples. We also work on pronunciation, creating a comfortable atmosphere where there is no undue pressure. Lessons are packed with practice: we build mini-dialogues, rehearse everyday role-playing scenarios (“conversing at a cafe,” “checking into a hotel”)—a phrase like “Deletrear tu apellido” will seem trivial with my guidance. We analyze and immediately use “useful expressions” in speech, and listen to short audio recordings. Error corrections are always purposeful, so as not to interrupt the flow of conversation.

My advice to learners: Don’t be afraid to make mistakes: Mistakes are part of learning. Practice without fear and learn from your errors. Also, be patient and persistent: Language learning takes time, so maintain a positive attitude and keep practicing. Good luck with your Spanish studies!
